Justin Bishop Music

Justin Bishop is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and guitarist with over 25 years of playing experience. While guitar remains his primary voice, his musical range extends across pedal steel, bass, mandolin, violin, cello, keys, and harmonica—allowing him to move fluidly between styles and roles on stage and in the studio.

As a songwriter, Justin works primarily in the Americana tradition, drawing on roots, storytelling, and melodic craftsmanship. His original music blends classic influences with a modern sensibility, shaped by years of performing, collaborating, and listening closely to the details that make a song feel lived-in and honest.

Justin also runs a YouTube channel focused on guitar-related content, featuring practical lessons alongside in-depth, musician-focused gear reviews. His approach emphasizes real-world use, musical context, and accessibility over hype—aimed at helping players make informed choices and get the most out of their equipment.

In addition to performing and creating content, Justin teaches guitar at Donley’s Music in the Atlanta area, where he works with students of all ages and skill levels. Whether he’s teaching, writing, reviewing gear, or performing, his focus remains the same: serving the song, honoring the craft, and helping musicians grow with confidence and curiosity.
